Do I need to make an appointment?
No — walk-ins are always welcome during opening hours. If you have a large collection, feel free to call us first so we can give it proper attention.
Does condition matter?
Not always. We buy broken, damaged, and incomplete items — particularly when it comes to jewellery and precious metals. The gold content is what matters most. We’ll happily look at any items you bring in to us.
What if I don't know what I have?
That's completely fine — most people don't. Bring it in and we'll assess everything for you, explain what it is and what it's worth. There's no charge for a valuation.
How will I be paid?
We pay on the spot by bank transfer. There's no waiting around — if you accept our offer, we make payment right then and there. Be sure to bring your Bank Account details with you.
Are you licensed?
Yes, absolutely. We are fully licensed New Zealand Secondhand Dealers governed by the New Zealand Secondhand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 2004 and operate under the rules and guidance of that act, in accordance with all other relevant laws.
How do you determine value?
We test all metals on the spot using professional equipment and price against live rates. For coins and watches, we assess age, maker, condition, and collector demand. We are happy to answer any questions.
Am I obligated to sell once I come in?
Absolutely not. We'll assess your items and make an offer, but you are under no pressure or obligation to accept.
